Magnetic Roll Separator for Fine Iron & Impurity Removal

PML Magnetic Roll Separators are high-intensity magnetic systems designed for removing fine ferrous impurities from dry bulk materials. Also known as roll type magnetic separators, magnetic roller separators, or magnetic destoners, these systems are ideal for industries where fine contamination removal is critical and continuous processing is required.

With magnetic strength up to 10,000 Gauss, the separator efficiently captures even weak magnetic particles, ensuring high product purity.

How the Magnetic Roll Separator Works

  • Material is fed onto a conveyor belt via feeder
  • At the discharge point, it enters the magnetic zone of the roller
  • Magnetic particles are attracted and carried along the belt
  • Once outside the magnetic field, they drop into a separate chute
  • Non-magnetic material continues forward as purified product

Construction Details

The system consists of:

  • High-intensity NdFeB magnetic roller (head pulley)
  • Non-magnetic tail pulley
  • Conveyor belt (Kevlar or application-specific material)
  • Feeder unit
  • Separate discharge chutes for magnetic and non-magnetic material
  • SS contact parts (for hygiene applications)
  • MS structural frame
