Product Description

Amorphous metal cores are made from amorphous Fe-based alloys offer an interesting combination of high saturation flux density and low magnetization losses. C type core is easy to install, easy to wind copper wire and high saturation flux density

Applications

  • Applied to solar inverters, wind power inverters
  • Filter reactor of high-frequency super switching power supply
  • Transformer cores in switch mode power supplies
  • Major transformer of UPS Power supply

Characteristics

  • High saturate induction - Reducing core volume
  • Rectangular form - Easy to mount coils
  • With air gap - Excellent anti-bias current ability
  • Low core loss - Low temperature rise (1/5~1/10 compared to silicon steel)
  • Good temperature stability -50℃ to 130℃
Saturate induction 1.56T Hardness Hv 960kg/mm2
Curie Temperature 410°C Density 7.18g/cm3
Crystallization Temperature 550°C Resistivity 130mW-cm

Advantages:

When comparing Iron Powder to Amorphous core. The Amorphous core will tend to be less expensive, and have lower losses, smaller physical size, better heat dissipation,Reduced carbon dioxide emissions, Reduction fossil fuel consumption,Reduced magnetizing current and are mechanically rugged. The will have lower power loss and smaller however cost will be slightly higher.
