Description

PML introduces a range of off-the-shelf current sensors suitable for measuring currents from 0A to +/- 1000 Apk (DC as well as AC). These are high-performance analog current sensor modules designed for direct PCB mounting, offering accurate, isolated current measurement. Unlike other solutions, this sensor eliminates the need for additional daughter PCBs, reducing system complexity, failure modes and cost.

With a 5V supply, the module outputs a linear analog voltage ranging from 0.5 V to 4.5 V, proportional to the primary input current. Engineered with excellent linearity (typically within ±0.5% FS), it’s ideally suited for high-current applications such as electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, battery monitoring, and industrial power electronics.

These current sensors are designed to deliver accurate current measurements in harsh environments. These sensors are designed for performance aiming at AEC Q-100. These current sensors comply with key international standards of application as well as environmental safety like RoHS, REACH, UL94 V0 etc.

“Clamp-on” or “Cable clamp” Current Sensors are sensors that are used for measuring AC or DC currents. They are particularly useful for measuring currents flowing in a cable wire in a non-intrusive way.
