Excellent oxidation resistance and strength retention - ideal for extreme conditions.

Specifically suitable in turbine blades and vanes, jet engine and gas turbine components, exhaust systems, and aerospace applications where high-temperature strength, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance are critical. These alloys are also suitable for power generation, automotive, and chemical processing industries.

Ingot Manufacturing Process

Melting of virgin elements to make ingots of IN713C alloy by Vacuum Induction melting (VIM)

RFQ from Customer

Alloy chemistry and ingot specifications are finalized as per application requirements.

Alloy Design/Planning

As per customer requirements, mould design carried out and planned for charge preparation, charge sequences in VIM furnace. Careful selection of raw materials are the prime factor to achieve specified chemistry of an alloy.

Alloy Melting by VIM

Virgin elements are charged into the VIM furnace either in air or under vacuum, with precise adjustments made for trace element additions during melting.

Process & Quality Control

The melt is poured under vacuum into precision-engineered molds using an automatic tilting mechanism for defect-free solidification. With online temperature, Spectro, and oxygen data, we meticulously control melting and refining to achieve the specified ingot composition.

Primary Finishing

Post-casting processes include surface treatment, cropping, and preparation of ingots for downstream processing.

Testing & Packaging

Every batch is tested for chemical composition by Spark- OES / wet analysis / Gas analysis, and physical compliance as per customer specification before secure packaging.

Properties

Exceptional heat tolerance, stress durability, and chemical degradation resistance

Performs under pressure—resistant to saline, heat, and mechanical stress in critical environments.
