High Performance Steel Alloys
PML manufactures high-purity CPM 10V ingots using Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM), engineered for exceptional vanadium carbide distribution and microstructural consistency.

Ultra-high wear resistance tool steel alloy, designed for maximum durability and life in demanding tooling, shearing, and industrial cutting applications.
Produced from virgin elements using our state-of-the-art VIM facility for clean, homogeneous, and application-ready ingots.
Alloy chemistry and ingot specifications are finalized as per application requirements.
As per customer requirement mould design carried out and planned for charge preparation, charge sequences in VIM furnace. Careful selection of raw materials are the prime factor to achieve specified chemistry of an alloy.
Virgin elements are charged into the VIM furnace either in air or under vacuum, with precise adjustments made for trace element additions during melting.
The melt is poured under vacuum into precision-engineered molds using an automatic tilting mechanism for defect-free solidification.
Post-casting processes include surface treatment, cropping, and preparation of ingots for downstream processing.
Every batch is tested for chemical composition by Spark- OES / wet analysis / Gas analysis, and physical compliance as per customer specification before secure packaging.

From intricate cold-forming tools to ruggedized industrial cutters, rely on our CPM 10V alloy for the reduced downtime and consistent precision your high-throughput production lines demand.
