Steel Grades
B72M is a high-strength precipitation-hardened alloy built for structural endurance in aerospace, medical, and heavy engineering applications.

Ideal for aerospace fasteners, airframes, surgical tools, and defense-grade components-delivered in ready-to-process ingot form.
Air-melted from virgin elements with inert argon shielding—ensuring controlled chemistry and structural consistency.
Alloy chemistry and ingot specifications are finalized as per application requirements.
PML produces T-400 alloy ingots by melting virgin elements using an air melting furnace with argon gas purging. The process ensures high-quality, contamination-free output.
As per customer requirement mould design carried out and planned for charge preparation, charge sequences in Air induction melting furnaces in a controlled atmosphere. Careful selection of raw materials are the prime factor to achieve specified chemistry of an alloy.
Furnace Preparation: Thorough cleaning to eliminate impurities; Sequential Charging: Temperature-controlled material feed; Continuous Stirring: Homogeneous alloying; Superheating: To ensure full dissolution of elements; Filtering: Removes intermediate impurities prior to pouring using ceramic filter; Preheated Moulds: Prevents casting defects and improves ingot quality Controlled Cooling: In pre-designed metal molds
The melt is prepared under Air induction melting furnaces in a controlled atmosphere. Argon gas purging from hood and bottom ensures to minimize gas impurities.
Post-casting processes include surface treatment, cropping, and preparation of ingots for downstream processing.
Every batch is tested for chemical composition by Spark- OES / wet analysis / Gas analysis, and physical compliance as per customer specification before secure packaging.

From intricate sensor seals to ruggedized high-pressure feedthroughs, rely on our B72M alloy for the thermal stability and hermetic reliability your mission-critical hardware demands.
