Description

Magnetic shields isolate an object or source from the magnetic/ Electromagnetic shields. It does not eliminate or destroy the magnetic field, the shield just allows the field to complete its path through an easy path called “path of least magnetic reluctance”.

e.g. In current sensing typical U-Shield protects the sensor from parasitic magnetic fields caused by nearby conductors or other magnetic field sources while at the same time it enhances sensitivity and signal-to-offset ratio of the sensor

Magnetic shields are used in Electric and Hybrid Automobiles, Energy meters, Medical devices, Safety devices and in Aerospace and Defence industries.
